Weekend get-away and an almost classic white shirt
When I saw this blouse on another blog, I HAD to have it. I’m not quite sure if I have shared my passion for white shirts with you yet. If not: they are my go-to favorite, my every day classic, they are what I reach for in the morning when my brain is still in sleep-mode and I need to put something on for work. Basically a life saver in every situation because they can be dressed up or down (did I mention versatile?! 😉 ). And there you have it: my love for the classic white shirt. I own about 15, maybe 20… educated guessing. Different shapes, always crisp white and I’m a sucker for everything white shirt with a little spin.
This shirt/tunic is great for spring as I’m wearing it in the pictures: ribbed denim, your favorite sneakers and maybe a faux fur vest or light jacket to throw over it. Done. For work, I’d probably style it with black denim (non-distressed), a cute pair of mid-heels in back, nude or red, and maybe a sharp cut blazer or a cropped wool sweater on top. The options for this piece are endless, plus the cuffs with the bow give it that little extra coolness and feminine edge as well as not being too crazy at the same time. And lets not forget the slits that give the oversize feel without your figure getting lost in a white bed linen. Looove!
Last but not least, I wanted to mention that there will be a blog post on the location, in case you are wondering why I was at a castle, coming soon. Spoiler alert: my boyfriend is awesome (full stop) and booked us in at the Hugenpoet castle because we hadn’t seen each other in over two weeks. It was absolutely beautiful. But more details are yet to come, so stay tuned and for now, I hope you like the pictures and the outfit and you get to re-style it and get inspired. That’s a lot of “and’s”, haha. Have fun! (P.S. Links to everything are down below)
