My favorite spring fragrances 2017
Spring is finally here! I know, Captain Obvious, but for those of you who haven’t noticed or are sleeping under a rock, I just wanted to make sure… I’m so uber excited because it’s such a beautiful season, it brings a fresh start to our wardrobe and make-up and sets the mood for summer (which is even more fun, in my opinion). I already organized my wardrobe because I was moving anyway. It feels so refreshing to dig out your summer wardrobe, put the huge down coats in boxes and get inspired by all the spring/summer collections which are finally hitting the stores. Or, if they have already hit the ground, now is the time to wear them. Also, it’s time to switch up your perfume collection. Yes, you heard that right.
I do categorize my scents into more autumnal/winter fragrances and the more fruity/light-weight/blossom perfumes. Which doesn’t mean I don’t wear either of them in another season. But I wanted to show you my top three fragrances for spring: one is brand new, one is a bit older and the third one, I will probably repurchase for the rest of my life. I’ll be talking about occasions to wear them, the scent and prices.
First off, Miss Dior by Dior. I first got this like 10 years ago and have been loving it ever since. It’s such a classic, because it is feminine and sweet, yet not too powdery or overly bloomy. The perfect everyday favorite fragrance. Plus, the packaging is elegant and classy and sooo Dior.
Next favorite for spring is La Petite Robe Noire Intense by Guerlain. I recently talked about this on Insta because it’s my newest perfume and it was bought for a special occasion. I’ve always loved the packaging of the Petite Robe Noire but the scent just wasn’t my cup of tea. So I tried it and tried it again, hoping I would like it. Well, I didn’t. Until, I saw the blue bottle in Douglas (German equivalent to Sephora, just less helpful personnel). I tried it, loved it, bought it. Pretty easy, haha. The scent is kinda bloomy, but not too girly and it has sandal-wood it in which makes it edgy. I try not to use it every day yet, but knowing myself for 28 years now, I probably will within the next two months.
My third favorite perfume for spring is Bonbon by Victor&Rolf. My mom got it first and I may have stolen it once or twice… until I finally got my own one. This fragrance is sweet, super bloomy and super fun. I wouldn’t want to wear it every day but once in a while, when I feel like my serious business outfit need a little something, I wear this. Or when you’re wearing the cutest white lace dress in summer, this scent compliments it perfectly. Also, the packaging is insanely pretty. I mean, it’s a pink bow. It doesn’t get any cuter.
Hope you liked this quick favorites post and the pictures, I put all links down below and let me know, what your fave spring scent is.
